✨ YOGA | SURF | NATURE | SELF-MASSAGE

🗓️ SEPT 25 - 28, 2026 @ CORNWALL, UK

Where the Land Meets the Sea, and You Find Your People

Come to the edge of the land. Let the Atlantic wind clear your mind, the salt air open your lungs, and the rhythm of the ocean remind you of something you already know. And then let yourself be surprised by the people gathering family-style around the table, on the Yoga mat beside you, walking the same cliff path.

Some retreats are about going inward. This one is about that, and about what happens when you do it alongside others who are doing the same.

Gea Yoga Cornwall Yoga retreat home§

Overview

This retreat is woven around the five great elements: Earth, Fire, Water, Air, and Space, carried through movement, stillness, breath, and the wild Cornish landscape. The air still warm, the light turning golden, the year not yet ready to fold inward - that rare and fleeting feeling of something precious happening right now, before everything changes. When the earth is releasing, and we too slow down to actually feel and reflect on where we stand.

Underneath all of it runs a simpler current: the profound relief of belonging somewhere, even temporarily. Of being held - by the land, by the practice, by a small group of people who chose to show up.

Gea brings soulful vinyasa flow, chanting, kirtan and yoga nidra. Kitti brings slow and restorative movement, myofascial release and her gifted hands as a trained massage therapist. Together they create a container that is both alive and deeply nourishing, held with warmth, skill, and genuine care for every person in the room.

There is nothing to achieve here. No performance, no pressure. Just four days to breathe, move, rest, eat well, walk to the sea, and gather together before the year turns - and find, often when you least expect it, that this is exactly what refuge feels like.

Program:

Day 1 • EARTH - Arriving home
Gentle landings. Group coastal walk to stretch our legs out after the travels. We’ll gather around the table for a supper, followed by the opening circle to recognize all the pathways that brought us together to our home on the coast. The evening closes with an Earth Slow Vinyasa practice led by Gea and Kitti together: grounding, slow, a soft arrival into the body and into the group. The rest of the night is yours.

Day 2 • FIRE - Coming alive
The day begins with a family-style breakfast: pancakes, eggs, fruit, coffee, the kind of morning that sets a warm tone. The Fire Vinyasa practice with Gea is designed to feel like the body waking up alongside the landscape - dynamic, soulful, building heat - while Kitti offers a long, luxurious savasana with hands-on massage. After a relaxed brunch, the group heads out onto the 3–4 mile coastal hike: dramatic cliff edges, wild sea views, breathtaking landscape. The evening closes with Kitti's restorative breathwork and slow flow, with massage balls and hands-on assists, Gea weaving in adjustments throughout. Dinner follows. No rush.

Day 3 • WATER - Into the Flow
Lie in or take a morning walk before we meet for a relaxed brunch. Midday, we go surfing - beginner-friendly, all equipment provided. Experience flow state in its most literal and humbling form. Where thinking stops, and you are, simply, here. Whether you ride a wave or spend an hour laughing in the whitewash, the ocean will have its way with you.

The afternoon is genuinely free: the garden, the sofa, journaling prompts, or the art of doing nothing. The evening Water practice draws everything deeper: slow flow, yoga nidra, and a four-hands massage with both Gea and Kitti. The night ends with mantra chanting - voices rising together, the group moved in ways that are hard to put into words but easy to feel.

Day 4 • AIR & SPACE - Wholeness
A final morning practice led by both teachers together: Gea's Air Mandala flow, Kitti’s spacious yin, and a closing that feels like it earns its name. Breath, reflection, gratitude for the days just passed and the people who passed through them with you. Then a last breakfast, unhurried and full of the particular warmth of a group that has become, briefly and genuinely, a community. Check-out is gentle. Some will linger for one last walk to the sea.

The Yoga on the retreat

Gea will be offering creative and playful Vinyasa Yoga and Mandala practice- rich, intelligent asana sequencing with a focus on proper alignment of your body, wrapped in fluid movement and creative flow, inspired by Yogic philosophy and storytelling intertwined with the theme. She’ll offer different pathways that can truly fit everyone - so that you can take what you need from it. You’ll explore deep relaxation with her Yoga Nidra and chant devotional songs and mantras led on a harmonium.

With Kitti, you will dive into the regenerative, gentle lunar and restorative flows, meditation and myofascial release. It will be an open invitation to turn inwards, tap into the stillness, calmness and mystery. Kitti is an experienced massage therapist and offers dreamy hands on assists and mini massage pockets of experiences in Shavasana.

Facilities and available activities

Beyond the retreat program, the property offers on-site gym access and tennis courts throughout the stay, included in the price. Mountain bikes can be rented to explore the surrounding countryside and coastal lanes. A short walk from Highcliffe, you will find Saunas by the Sea - a wood-fired sauna in Baby Bay. Nestled right on the beach, you can enjoy the relaxing heat of the sauna and, for an invigorating contrast, take a brisk run into the sea for a dose of cold water therapy.

Additional massage treatments can be booked directly on site with Kitti - a natural extension of the weekend's central thread of deep care and restoration.

Who This Retreat Is For

For anyone who needs to exhale, and who suspects that doing it alongside others might make it easier. For those who love yoga and want to go deeper, as well as those who simply want to move gently and be held well. For nature lovers, sea people, and anyone who has been quietly longing for a few days inside something that feels genuinely alive.

You do not need to be an experienced yogi. You do not need to know anyone when you arrive. The practices range from dynamic to deeply restorative, and the whole weekend is designed so you can meet it exactly where you are, with every single bit of the program being completely optional.

What you will find here is a small group of people, a stretch of Cornish coastline, two teachers who care deeply about the quality of what they create, and four days that will feel, by Monday morning, like they have always been part of your year.
