SPanda institute training program

I facilitate this globally recognized, Yoga Alliance-certified program as part of the Spanda Institute faculty at my SOMA Yoga studio in Wandsworth, London, UK, and online via Zoom (you can take it from anywhere!)

Since 2009, Spanda has been dedicated to elevating yoga as a science-informed, trauma-sensitive, and continually evolving discipline.

Our experienced teaching team includes Senior Trauma-Informed Yoga Teachers, a Women’s Health Physiotherapist, a Senior Doula, and a Postpartum care specialist.

The Perinatal Spanda Method: Logical, Creative, Organic

We center our training around our established Perinatal Spanda Flow Method - an organic approach with 3 sequencing pathways for different themes and accessibility levels, while leaving space for your creativity and authenticity.

We give you tested patterns and recipes to create themed classes that work for different bodies and abilities, adaptable on the go. You will learn to include relevant themes that inspire and elevate the real experience of pregnancy and postpartum.

Let's chat about what this means for you

FROM THE HEART
~ What Graduates say

“This training has changed my approach to practising yoga, my approach to teaching yoga, my approach to my own body, and it even changed the way I walk.

I've gotten in touch with the pieces of my body and my soul I didn't even know existed, and enjoyed every single second of the process. This might have been the most transformative experience I've ever had.

Thank you, Gea, and a thank you to all beautiful women in our intimate trust circle.”

~ Tijana, Germany

“I’m so grateful for Gea’s guidance and support throughout this incredible journey. Joining the course was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

The course was beautifully structured, covering every stage of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery with clarity and depth. Gea’s extensive knowledge shone through in every session, and she has an amazing ability to make complex topics easy to understand and apply.

The perfect mix of theory and hands-on practice really cemented what we learned, leaving me feeling fully prepared to teach.

Even though the course was online, it exceeded my expectations by creating a genuine sense of community among us women—we formed connections that felt as real as if we’d met in person. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for both knowledge and support.”

~ Anita, Switzerland

“I took the prenatal yoga teacher training led by Gea while I was pregnant with my second child. Following the breath work and movement techniques Gea taught during the course allowed me to have a positive and truly empowering birth experience.

Gea is a knowledgeable teacher with a genuine desire to help people. Everything she shared was supported by science and by lectures of medical professionals who joined the course.

The program was so well thought out and delivered that it made it easier to learn, understand, and practice.  If you are passionate about helping people and would like to acquire the knowledge and skills to teach more confidently, then Gea’s prenatal teacher training is the best gift you could give yourself and your students.”
