SPanda institute training program
I facilitate this globally recognized, Yoga Alliance-certified program as part of the Spanda Institute faculty at my SOMA Yoga studio in Wandsworth, London, UK.
Since 2009, Spanda has been dedicated to elevating yoga as a science-informed, trauma-sensitive, and continually evolving discipline.
Our experienced teaching team includes Senior Trauma-Informed Yoga Teachers, a Psychologist, a Neuroscientist, and a Physiotherapist.
The Spanda Vinyasa Method: Logical, Creative, Organic
We don't just teach creative flow - we center our training around the established and versatile Vinyasa Flow Method of sequencing. This logical method gives you principles and rules for creating yoga classes for different themes and levels of experience, while leaving space for creativity and authenticity to help you stand out and deliver engaging offerings.
Forget about countless hours of class planning. We give you a tested pattern and recipe to simply create themed classes that work for different bodies and abilities, adaptable on the go for any kind of day.

FROM THE HEART
~ What Graduates say
“I really enjoyed learning in person, and how you really took the time to break down the structure of a class, weaving in the anatomy and physiology, and then connecting it to the philosophy and spirituality of yoga.
The 200h YTT gave me the tools to not only build a class but also understand the mechanisms behind each segment and ensure safety, whilst also growing my confidence in creatively planning classes.
The training inspired me greatly, and I learnt so much that was outside of the curriculum that I feel the training was not only to qualify as a yoga teacher, but to come back home to myself and find a deep connection to my inner world, amplifying my connection to others.”
~ Anjali, UK
“The training has been fantastic. My chronic back pain has subsided immensely, and my mind has awakened - all thanks to Gea’s clear and easy-to-follow instructions.
Also, a comprehensive structure of the in-person classes, practical homework, and continuous individual approach have led me to teach yoga classes in a more confident manner. I have learned the ways to use different methods, asanas, and transitions according to the individual's needs.
Gea’s straightforward approach has kept my intention sharp. I feel grateful for this chance to learn from a reliable, knowledgeable, and very experienced yoga teacher.”
~ Marijana, Croatia
“I took the training as a first-time mum with a new baby and felt so supported throughout to be able to participate in a way that worked for us.
Spiritually, I grew into myself as a person and a mother, which the training gave me the space to do and find myself and my confidence again.
I felt totally ready to teach after the training and enjoyed the few experiences I have had so far doing this. I really enjoyed the times I was able to be at the studio in person, connect with my practice deeply, understand the roots of yoga, learn from such an experienced teacher, and have jokes and connections with the people in the studio.”
~ Almaz, UK
